Anthony Okogie's open letter to the president

Anthony Okogie's Open Letter To Buhari DEAR Mr. President,Last year, when you assumed office, the chant of “Change”, your campaign slogan, ushered you into the Presidential Villa. Today, cries of “hunger” could be heard across the length and breadth of our vast country. Nigerians hunger, not only for food, but also for good leadership, for peace, security and justice. This letter is to appeal to you to do something fast, and, if you are already doing something, to redouble your effort.May it not be written on the pages of history that Nigerians die of starvation under your watch. As President, you are chief servant of the nation. I therefore urge you to live up to the huge expectation of millions of Nigerians. A stitch in time saves nine. The way forwardThis is the second year of your administration. You and your party promised to lead the masses to the Promised Land. It is not an easy task to lead. But by campaigning for this office, you offered to take the enormous task of leadership upon yourself. Nigerians are waiting for you to fulfill the promises you made during the campaign. They voted you into office because of those promises. The introduction of town hall meetings is a commendable idea. But in practice, you, not just your ministers, must converse with Nigerians. You are the President. You must be accountable to them. The buck stops on your desk. Even if your administration has nomagic wand at least give some words of encouragement. On this same score, please instruct your ministers, and insist that they be sincere and polite at those town meetings. Their sophistry will neither serve you nor Nigerians.Mr. President, if you want to leave a credible legacy come 2019, in all sincerity, please retool your administration. Change is desirable. But it must be a change for the better. Let this change be real. Change is not real when old things that we ought to discardrefuse to pass away. You will need to take a critical look at your cabinet, at the policies and programmes of your administration, and at those who help you to formulate and execute them. You will need to take a critical look at the manner of appointments you havebeen making. It is true that commonsense dictates that you appoint men and women you can trust. But if most of the people you trust are from one section of the country and practice the same religion, then you and all of us are living in insecurity. The Nigerian economy has never been in a state as terrible as this. You as President are like pilot of an aircraft flying in turbulence. Turbulent times bring the best or the worst out of a pilot. We can no longer blame the turbulence on past administrations. You know quite well that some of the officials of your administration served in previous dispensations. Blame for what we have been experiencing is in fact bipartisan in character. The entire political class needs to come together, irrespective of party differences, to acknowledge its collective guilt and to seek ways of saving the sinking ship that our country has become. This cannot be done if some officials of your administration demonise and alienate members of the opposition. If a large portion of the blame for the present situation is to belaid on the doorsteps of the entire political class, the search for solution must involve everyone. That is why no one should be alienated. All hands must be on deck. This is the time to revitalise moribund industries, reinvigorate our agriculture, make our country tourist and investor friendly, and enable our young men and women to find fulfillment by contributing to the common good. None of these lofty goals can be achieved without good education. On this particular issue, recent appointments you have made in the education sector raise a question: have you really appointed the best?Still on education, it is important that our universities be allowed to use their own criteria to admit students. It is a gross violation of the principles of federalism and academic freedom for the federal government to insist that only a federal parastatal can decide on who gains admission into our universities. It is the role of the university senate, not of government bureaucrats, to decide on who gets admitted and who is awarded a certificate. The war on corruptionMr. President, your desire to wage a war on corruption is just and noble. But a just war must be waged with just means. Those who have stolen the wealth of this country have broken the laws of our country. They must betreated according to the law and not outside the law, and the outcome of the judicial process must be respected by government. Even accused persons have rights. Where those rights are violated, we risk a descent toanarchy. It is our candid opinion that corruption is not found in only one party. No political party in Nigeria has a monopoly of looters. That is why we need an EFCC that is thoroughly independent of the presidency, and an Attorney General without party affiliation working in partnership with various independent accounting institutes. This will ensure that we come up with an objective listof those who plundered our treasury.Mr. President, pardon me if I sound like a gratuitous counselor. I owe you the truth and nothing but the truth. In my life as a public figure and a religious leader, I have offered my counsel, for whatever its worth, to quite a number of Presidents in this country. I do this because I desire that you succeed. For the success of the leader is the success of the citizens. If there is no solution to Nigeria’s problem there may be endless war. You strike one town, you gain it, and you come again to regain it. Remember that you cannot put a crown on your head. It is the people who put it on you. Otherwise one day, you will get tired of it. Please listen to the legitimate cries of your fellow citizens. Cardinal Anthony Okogie, emeritus Archbishop of [truncated by WhatsApp]

Warning, read.

Warning..!!!! Recently we parked in a public car park. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for petrol. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car. Then we received this email yesterday. WARNING FROM POLICE THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE -- A NEW WAY TO DO CAR-JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)! Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating... You walk across the car park, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine put it into reverse. When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you stop and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically run you over as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the car-jacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised! BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED. If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, lock your doors and just drive away!! Remove the paper later. And be thankful that youread this e-mail.. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, if you wish, especially to women, A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands. Please tell your friends #copied

Twin girls, Brielle and Kyrie, were born 12 weeks ahead of their due date. Needing intensive care, they were placed in separate incubators. Kyrie began to gain weight and her health stabilized. But Brielle, born only 2 lbs, had trouble breathing, heart problems and other complications. She was not expected to live. Their nurse did everything she could to make Brielle’s health better, but nothing she did was helping her. With nothing else to do, their nurse went against hospital policy and decided to place both babies in the same incubator. She left the twin girls to sleep and when when she returned she found a sight she could not believe. She called all the nurses and doctors and this is what they saw. As Brielle got closer to her sister, Kyrie put her small little arm around her, as if to hug and support her sister. From that moment on, Brielle’s breathing and heart rate stabilized and her health became normal. Good lesson to learn.

Paul Pogba- The Old Trafford reject is now Manchester United's £100m man! Paul Pogba initially arrived at Old Trafford as a 16-year-old hopeful. After 2 successful years in the academy, he made his senior debut for United as a substitute in a League Cup tie with Leeds United in September 2009. Unfortunately, his initial debut did not lead to the regular first-team football Pogba expected. Based on series of fallouts with the then Manager Alex Ferguson, he was sold for £1m in 2012. "It is disappointing," Ferguson said at the time. "I don't think he showed us any respect at all, to be honest. "I'm quite happy that if they [footballers] carry on that way, they're probably better doing it away from us." The ManU journey's hopes and expectations came to an abrupt and disappointing end. Eventually off to Juventus he went. Four years at Juventus saw him win four Italian league titles, two Italian Cups, reach a Champions League final and collect a whole host of individual awards. Ummm all of a sudden the ‘disappointing’ Pogba now became valuable...The most expensive player in the history of football!!! Now bought AGAIN by Manchester United for almost £100m. How will you like to sell for £1m and buy the same back about 4 years later for £100m? On his return to the new manager Jose ‘The Special One’ Mourinho said: "Finally. It’s amazing that such a good player is with us,” “Finally we have him.” LIFE LESSON: 1. Just because you did not flourish the first time does not mean you are not valuable. Maybe you are not yet valuable to others but there are hidden potential in you. 2. Don’t let the assessment of others determine your future. Their negative prophecies is not the correct assertion of your future. 3. You may need to change your environment in order to flourish. Maybe leave that friendship, that place etc You need the atmosphere that encourages your development and not where you are judged. You need a place that value you NOW for who you are as they work with you to become who you want to be - very important!. 4. If you develop yourself, you can later be accepted where you were rejected. 5. People do not owe you acceptance, you have no right to their favours! It is YOUR JOB to develop your competence and they will ‘like’ you based on merit. Now you can dictate your terms because now you are valuable to them and they need you. 6. Your value is in your development. Your income is tied to your value and the perceived value you can add. Find out how to ‘develop your brilliance’ and dedicate your life to it, it will soon affect your income. Terfa Simon Kene 7. Be decisive, be very very decisive. Leave when you think you should. Do what you think you should. 8. "Never cry over spilled milk”…so it did not work out? Let it go. Forgive yourself and forgive others too and never say never in your disappointments. Don’t make decisions from your hurt. Move on, it can truly get better if you decide to focus on the true essentials. There is a difference between your life and what happens to you, so focus on your life and not on what happened to you.

The truth and facts about the Naira Dollar free fall.

THE TRUTH AND FACT ABOUT THE NAIRA DOLLAR FREE FALL IN SUMMARY by ogbenna ugochukwu (read & share) The truth and fact to know is that the naira has never had any value (compared to the dollar for about 30 years now). What has been happening since the late 80's (during IBB's regime) is that local production started dwindling and importation of finished products started surging up. Since the country was making huge money from crude oil sales, it was easy for them to always strengthen the value of the naira against the dollar from the external reserve. This lazy approach continued over the years unchecked ignoring the fact that oil price could crash. During the 2008 world economic meltdown (global recession), the external reserve grown by obasanjo was used to withstand the shock on the naira. It's quite unfortunate that the external reserve was hugely depleted over the past six years and about the same time, the global price of crude oil crashed by more than 100%. But in the actual sense, is the external reserve of a country the right source to give its currency value? capital no is the answer. It could be likened to an athlete who performs exceptionally well with steroids while a true athlete performs exceptionally well in their pure natural state. You can agree with me that drugs are not allowed as a performance enhancer in athletics. The only credible way to re-invigorate the naira is to commence an extensive and aggressive local production of products that we always demand foreign exchange to purchase abroad, and that we can see the Buhari's led FG is rightly laying the foundation. The liberalization of the exchange rate has really shown the actual value of the naira. The naira in actual sense had no value against the dollar for about three decades now which shows that we have been operating an illusory economy (the more you look, the less you see) all these while. Like prof Pat Utomi rightly said recently that the crash in crude oil price and the free fall of naira should not be seen from the negative perspective but rather a blessing to us in the sense that it is a wake up call to seek other ways to grow our economy away from oil. We recently learnt that the gold deposit in the north can match that of south Africa if mined optimally. A country's gold reserve is one of the greatest assets it can have to always come out of recession. With the latest discovery of Nickel in the north as well as other solid minerals that are now being given attention, we can be rest assured that brighter days awaits the country. Agriculture for sure is also being given the adequate attention by the current Buhari led FG. In conclusion, bear it in mind that petroleum products importation consumes more than 50% of our foreign exchange and it is expected that once Dangote's refinery in Lagos starts refining sometime in 2018, our foreign reserve will experience about 50% growth which translates to about 50% less demand for dollars. The naira yuan deal is still in progress, but you have to know that such diplomatic deals takes some time before the processes are concluded and comes into effect. It's part of FG measure to reduce over dependence on the dollar on a lasting solution basis. If you are into local production of goods, you can check the Bank of Industry for loan with this link https://www.boi.ng/apply/register Only increased local production and exportation with much reduced rate of importation will give our naira the true value it deserves.

Very good write up

I love this wonderful write up. What #600 did! 8 years ago, I was a Corper in a little town called Ozoro in Delta state. I had a life changing experience on one of my trips to my location. It was a Sunday. I left Ibadan at noon because I had to resume work Monday morning. There was fuel scarcity so the fare had gone up a bit. At the park that day, I saw a young boy of around 20 years with a little girl of around 10 or 12. They were begging people in that car to help with #600 so as to add to their fare. They weren't prepared for the inflated price oweing to the fuel scarcity. No one in the car seemed to care. However, as a young man with less worries I volunteered to pay the #600. At least, I was certain it's not a scam. On our way, the driver decided to search for fuel in Ondo State. That took us another 2and a half hours. We got to Warri safely but very late. I took the last cab from Warri to Ughelli. On getting to Ughelli, the park was empty. It was a ghost town. The darkness was so thick that I could barely see my feet. This was few minutes after 11pm. So I couldn't get the final cab to my town-Ozoro. I was left with a major decision to make. Should I sleep in one of the stalls in the park or should I trek backwards towards warri where I saw one agofure bus park. That trekking backward will still take another 30 minutes. I was confused and scared to the bones. I have heard about "Warri Wolves" sorry "Warri boys". I have not met them but their exploits have always been a best selling tale. After some minutes in the dark, I heard some sounds. I knew someone was walking towards me but i couldn't see the figure clearly. It was so dark you could tie strings to the darkness and play a guitar out of it. Suddenly, I heard "Uncle!" "Corper Sir". The only thing on me that could be seen in the dark was my white NYSC shirt. That sound was not harmful but I was scared still. I was expecting the "boys" to come for the bag I brought from Ibadan for them. The figure moved closer and it didn't look harmful. I stretched my neck into the dark to see who that was. It was the boy whose fare I paid in Ibadan. I felt a vibration through my skin. To cut the story short, he took me along with his sister to their house. Not the best of all houses though. It was a small house with four rooms which were empty. He vacated his bed for me to sleep. He slept on the mat with his little sister. I offered them money in the morning, which they refused. They look so excited but frail. I left for my town and I couldn't leave the experience even till now. I sat on my table at work and I thought I could be a dead man, I could be in the hospital. I could even be in the police net or somewhere I can't really explain. Everyone rejected them but I didn't. Others had more money than I had but wouldn't give. I thought i was paying their t.fare, Little did I know I was paying for a bed. I thought I was doing them favours, I didn't know I was saving it for myself. If I had pushed them away like others did, they would have walked past me without a word in the middle of no where. I lifted them at noon, they lifted me at night. I paid in Ibadan I received the goods in Delta. I gave them #600, they saved my life. That day, I made up my mind there will be nothing too big to give and there will be nothing too small to be received. For every gift has a potential to open a door. A lot of us have shut our doors and we keep saying God is unfair. Giving shouldn't only be to people who can pay us back but also to people who seem not to have a means. An act of kindness, a little seed...is an investment

This is funny, laugh to reduce stress.

Why condoms are packed in 3s, 6s & 12s A man walks into a drug store with his 8-year old son. They happen to walk by the condom display, and the boy Asks, "What are these, Dad?" To which the man Matter-of-factly replies, "Those are called condoms, son. Men use them to have safe sex." Oh, I see," replied the boy pensively. "I've heard of that in health class at school." He looks over the display and picks up a package of 3 and asks, Why are there 3 in this package?" The dad replies, "Those are for high school boys, one for Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday.." "Cool" says the boy... He notices a 6 pack and asks, "Then, who are these for? "Those are for college men," the dad answers. "TWO for Friday, TWO for Saturday, and TWO for Sunday." "WOW!" exclaimed the boy, "Then, who uses THESE?" he asks, picking up a 12-pack. With a sigh and a tear in his eye, the dad replied, "Those are for married men. One for January, one for February, one for March....up to December" The boy replied; "I am not getting married. 😜😂😂😂😀😀

Do you agree that Nigeria should be restructured? pls say your own opinion.

IT IS IMPERATIVE TO RESTRUCTURE NIGERIA NOW Fidel Albert Wrote: California is the 6th largest economy in the world. It's economy is larger than that of France or Brazil. The little problem is that California is not a country. It is a State in the United States of America. It has little offshore oil, yet its economy is larger than States in the US that are famous for their oil reserves, like Texas. California generates much of its revenue from non-oil products. It found a way to absorb and domesticate much of the intellectual output from its premier university, Stanford University, into saleable products within its economy. As a matter of fact, much of California's economy is built around Stanford University. So with this, Silicon valley developed. I'm sure you've heard of Silicon Valley at least once in your life. Now with Silicon Valley came companies like Apple, eBay, Cisco, Lockheed, Hewlett Packard (HP), Google, Netflix, Facebook, Oracle, Tesla...and the list goes on and on ad infinitum. These are multibillion-dollar companies. The yearly budget of any one of these companies might be larger than the entire yearly budget of, say for example, Akwa Ibom State. I'm taking about companies that are richer than countries. They are all in California. But that is just in the technology industry where the technologies and inventions spewing out of Stanford are caught midair and converted to money spinning enterprises. But there is also the entertainment industry in California. Yes, Hollywood is in California. The US movies industry contributes about $504Billion to USA's GDP. Hollywood, as you know, contributes over 70% of that figure. Most iconic movie studios are in Hollywood. As a matter of fact, the "Big Eight" consisting of 20th Century Fox, Columbia Pictures, MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer), Paramount Pictures, RKO Radio Pictures, United Artists, Universal Studios and Warner Bros are, or were, all in Hollywood. These again, are multi-billion dollar companies generating revenue for California. Despite the above, California also thrives on agriculture. As at 2014, California had nothing less than 77,000 farms and ranches raking in about $55Billion in revenue yearly. It produces over 400 agricultural commodities, a large chunk of which it exports. It is the leader in producing exotic fruits in America. Its wine industry is unique. California wine is drunk with relish the world over. I used to drink some too. This is just one State in America. You see, California actually had a choice of sitting back and striving to get a piece of the revenue generated from Texas' oil. It could have depended solely on Federal allocation to survive so that every month end, it will send its Commissioner of Finance to Washington DC to receive monthly allocation so that it can barely pay salaries of its workers and nothing more. Then San Francisco would resemble Ajegunle in Lagos. And there certainly would not be those beautiful sights and sounds that make California what it is today. But No, not California. Not America. California gives to the center and, because of its wealth, despises the idea of depending on it for survival. The Federal Government actually needs California to survive, not the other way round. You see, America is structured in such a way that States must look inwards to exploit their wealth for the good of its citizens. There is no free lunch for the lazy States. There certainly is no commonwealth. But there is your wealth, if you can create it. Under American Federalism, you are the captain of your ship. But again, you are also the waves upon which the ship will sail. That is America. The local government, the government closest to the grassroot, is deliberately made the strongest level of government. Items like Variances (adaptation of state law to local conditions,) Public works (yes, public works!!), Contracts for public works, Licensing of public accommodations, Assessable improvements, Basic public services are all left for local county governments to handle. The State handles weightier matters like Property law, Education,Commerce laws of ownership and exchange, Banking and credit laws, Labour law and professional licensure, Insurance laws, and Electoral laws, including parties and Civil service laws. Items that the Federal Government, the center, handles affecting the States, are actually very negligible. Nigeria on the contrary will never do well unless we restructure. We pretend to have a Federal system but we are actually operating a unique form of unitary government, and it is weighing the polity down. Can you imagine a country where the school curriculum is regulated by a national central body and states have no powers to vary or amend their curriculum? So, if the rest of the developed world is light years ahead in what they teach their children from primary schools, and our Minister of Education has absolutely no clue, the States must be burdened with antiquated school curriculum until such a time (if we are lucky, before rapture perhaps!!) that we have an Education Minister who would realise how far behind we are and bring the curriculum up to date. Just take a look at the science curriculum for grade students in advanced countries and you would cry for Nigeria. I recently read of a high school in Japan which has amended its curriculum to include robotics and drones technology. IN HIGH SCHOOL!! But our Professors here don't have a hang on Robotics even! Students are still taught the very prehistoric rudiments of physics and chemistry in our schools. And this is even in the few schools that teachers and students still meet in the classrooms! For the few public schools that are lucky to have labs, all you see are miserable nameless creatures trapped in formalin, to which nobody ever pays attention. These creatures suffer a double jeopardy having suffered the first misfortune of being caught and preserved in formalin in Nigeria, and then thereafter completely ignored, even in death! And because the control of our curriculum is central, there is nothing potentially proactive or progressive-minded States can do about this. You would think this is not a problem until you understand that Nigerians spend over ONE TRILLION NAIRA every year to study abroad, despite there being over 100 tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Not one is deemed good enough. You see, the reason why you have Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Oxford, etc is not only for academic excellence of the citizens of the countries which have these schools. No. They invest in their institutions so that they can earn revenue from foreign students from countries like Nigeria which has destroyed its educational system. Abroad, schools are so important to society that the economy, business and lifestyle of whole cities and even States completely depend on or revolve around schools. What would the city of cambridge be without Cambridge University. Or Cambridge, Massachusett without Harvard University. These cities depend on these universities to survive. And imagine that Nigeria had invested in its universities and was earning $1billion dollars a year from foreign students seeking to study here, who would be fighting over oil in the Niger Delta? How many car manufacturing companies would we have in Owerri near FUTO where students are constantly doing and selling their research products to burgeoning engineering and manufacturing companies? Recently, three students in Sweden conducted research and came up with a product that could improve wear and tear on tyres. The product became so successful that Volvo had to partner with these students to patent the product. Now when this product hit world stage, can you imagine how much revenue sweden would earn from these product? Do your research, most of the world-class products we buy today off the shelf, at great cost, were invented by university students. As you are reading this, do not forget that without Harvard University, there would not have been facebook, and this our interface would have been impossible. But our students In Nigeria are not entirely without inventions. We invented the Pyrates Confraternity, the Black Axe, the Eiye, the Vikings and what not!! Students resume school with guns and bullets, rather than books and scholastic ideas, as though academic institutions were a war college. Lecturers fly colors as do students. And when the turf war begins, people die in droves. But States can do nothing about this because some of these institutions are controlled by the Federal Government. Even for the ones controlled by States, you still can't do much because the security apparatus is controlled by the Federal Government. The Federal Government will provide or withdraw security from the State, depending on whether it is happy with the sitting Governor. So every year, all sorts of characters are vomited from Nigerian Universities to take their place in Nigerian society. So you have Judges, Lawyers, Engineers, Doctors and so forth whose first and primary allegiance is to their cult group, before the Country. The multiplier effect of this, is a treatise for another day. But suffice to say that as long as this problem persist, let's forget about Silicon Valley in Nigeria, because there will never be a Stanford University here to provide an infinite supply of ideas and prodigies to feed the invention value-chain! Nigeria cannot wake up from its slumber today because it cannot lift its head. The entire weight of its existence is concentrated in its head. From the viewpoint of government, the weight is In Abuja. From the viewpoint of revenue source, the weight is in the Niger-Delta. We need to urgently restructure and evenly distribute this pressure points and weights to diffuse tension in Nigeria. We need to revisit the exclusive legislative list in the constitution and systematically reduce the responsibilities of the Federal Government vis-a-vis the States. Resources have to be handed back to the States that generated them but place an obligation on each States to contribute an agreed percentage to the common federal purse to service obligations of the Federal Government. There is no reason Education, Policing, Prisons (only people convicted of federal offenses should go to federal prisons!!), Ports, Inland waterways, natural minerals, even marriage (yes, english form of marriage!!) and so many other items should be the concern of the Federal Government. We will never develop with such weight that weigh us down at the center. Nigeria can never raise its head in the comity of nations because of the sheer weight of the head. There is more to say, but scarcely any time. But to emphasis the point i've been laboring to make, shall i say again that there is absolutely no reason or need to fight for oil in the Niger-Delta. There are so many things that can bring more revenue to States in Nigeria than oil. South Africa has no oil, but it has Gold, and is richer than Nigeria. Let us fight for a system that will promote both equality and equity. Let us restructure Nigeria. My Name is Fidel Albert and #IStandForARestructuredNigeria!

Is always good to take hot water or soup after a meal, read to know why.

People's notions about cancer

Important and Compulsory Announcement 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Mises Rajayi:A secret that has been uncovered ! Cancer is not a disease but business!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 God grant that be true 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Professor Nandita deSouza from Cambridge university; The word named cancer is a lie... I humbly request you to read this topic without exception. They were mistaken in informing us of Cancer's cure. You might not believe. But cancer is not a disease, it is a business. 💥Cancer has become so spread that it has affected the old, young, baby and everyone. 💥Sharing this wonderful post will expose many of "hidden hands of the world manipulators and annoy them". 💥Do you know that the book "world without cancer" up til now has not been allowed to be translated into many world languages. ♦Know this that, there is no disease called cancer ♦Cancer consists of only deficiency of vitamin B17,it's not something else. ♦Restrain from chemotherapy ,surgery and or taking medicines with heavy side effects... Recall why in the past a quite large number of seamen lost their life to a named disease (scurvy) A disease that took the life of numerous people... And a number of people got an enormous income in this way... Afterwards it was discovered that scurvy was just deficiency of vitamin C,that means it wasn't a disease(illness) 💥Cancer is also just like that❗ 💥The colonizing world and the enemies of humanity established cancer industry and made it to be a business. 👉From cancer they earn billion billion of billions of income. This matter is very long and deep, the history of Genesis( coming into existence) of cancer industry flourished after the world war II : So to fight cancer all these durations and details and enormous expenditures are not needed to fill the pockets of colonizers, just prevention, and the cure will simply be obtained by the following strategies: ♦Eating 15 to 20 pieces of apricot's stone/nucleus(fruit stone) everyday is enough. If you have cancer you should first try knowing what cancer is? Do not panic! You should first investigate We repeat Nowadays does anyone die of an illness called scurvy? No-Because it gets cured. What of cancer? They have turned cancer into an industry... While the way of curing it has been found long ago... ♦Deficiency of vitamin B17,just this 🔻Eat wheat bud (wheat sprouts) 🔻Wheat bud is a miraculous anti-cancer medicine . 🔻Wheat bud is a rich source of liquid oxygen and the strongest anti-cancer matter in the name of "laetrile" ,and this matter is present in the fruit stone of Apple. Laetrile is the extract form of vitamin B17(Amygdalin) ♦American medicinal industry has started implementing the law forbidding "laetrile"production ,this medicine is being manufactured in Mexico and gets smuggled into US(illegally) ♦Dr. Harold W. Manner in a book named "Death of Cancer " stated the success of Cancer treatment with "laetrile" as high as above 90%. ✅If you have read share so that other's can benefit. Sources of Amygdalin i.e Vitamin B17 The foods containing vitamin B17 include: -The fruit stone or grain(seed) of fruits:Contain the most thickness of vitamin B17 in nature, which include fruit stone of apple, apricot, peach pear,,plum and prune (prune is a dried plum) -common beans corns(grains): which include bean ,lentil sprout (lentil bud) Lima (Lima beans) and pea. -kernels:Bitter Almond (Richest source of vitamin B-17 in nature) and Indian almond. -Mulberries: almost all the mulberries like black mulberry, blueberry ,raspberry and strawberry. -Seeds(Grains):sesame and linseed(seed of linen=flax seed) -Groats of oats, barley, brown rice, groats of black wheat, linseed, millet and rye. This vitamin is found in grains and fruit stones of apricot, brewer's yeast, rough price(paddy) and sweetmeat pumpkin. Kindness has no any cost and reaching knowledge is an act of worship. 🌞 So: •Apricots(kernels/seeds) •seeds from other fruits like apples, cherries, peaches, prunes, plums, pears •Lima beans •Fava beans •Wheatgrass •Almonds •Raspberries •Elderberries •Strawberries •Blackberries •Blueberries •Buckwheat •Sorghum •Barley •Millet •Cashews •Macadamia nuts •Bean sprouts All are the highest sources of absorbable vitamin B17. ♥Mises Rajayi: Eating washing-up liquids (used in kitchens) and washbasin liquid(used in toilets) is the main Cancer causing factor. So eating them is restricted. You will surely say that we do not eat! You daily wash your hands with washbasin liquid and wash your plates with washing-up liquids severally. The liquid is absorbed and will not get away from the plate with washing and when cooking or eating the food , because the food is hot it gets away from the plate and gets attached to the food and we eat this washing-up liquid with food! If you rinse the plate even some hundred times,it's of no use. But the solution; You pour half of the washing-up liquid and washbasin liquid in another plate and instead of that you pour vinegar. As simple as that, Do not eat blood cancer causing agent and also save your family from this danger. Meanwhile ,seriously restrain from washing vegetables with few drops of washing-up liquid because if you rinse even a hundred times ,it is already in the tissues of the vegetable and it will not get away. Instead soak it with salt and then rinse with water. And to keep it fresh add vinegar. Food for thought, good morning.

💙 _*A man was asked to paint a boat.*_ 💙 *He brought with him paint and brushes and began to paint the boat a bright red, as the owner asked him*. 💙 While painting, he realized there was a hole in the hull and decided to repair it. 💙 *When finished painting, he received his money and left.* 💙 The next day, the owner of the boat came to the painter and presented him with a nice check, much higher than the payment for painting. 💙 The painter was surprised: - You've already paid me for painting the boat! - he said. - But this is not for the paint job. 💙 It's for having repaired the hole in the boat. - *Ah! But it was such a small service ... certainly it's not worth paying me such a high amount for something so insignificant!* 💙 - My dear friend, you do not understand. Let me tell you what happened. 💙 *When I asked you to paint the boat, I forgot to mention about the hole.* 💙 When the boat dried, my kids took the boat and went on a fishing trip. 💙 *They did not know that there was a hole.* I was not at home at that time. 💙 When I returned and noticed they had taken the boat, I was desperate because I remembered that the boat had a hole. 💙 Imagine my relief and joy when I saw them returning from fishing. 💙 *Then, I examined the boat and found that you had repaired the hole! You see, now, what you did?* You saved the life of my children! I do not have enough money to pay your "small" good deed. 💙 *So, no matter who, when or how. Just continue to help, sustain, wipe tears, listen attentively and carefully repair all the "leaks"* you find, because you never know when one is in need of us or when God holds a pleasant surprise for us to be helpful and important to someone. 💙 You may have repaired numerous "boat holes" along the way, of several people without realizing how many lives you've saved. 💙 *In the midst of a world full of darkness and evil, everyday we must propagate all that God taught*- to *LOVE* our neighbors as yourself. Your day n night shall be favored and blessed. AMEN.

Prayer is always the key to everything you do, so pray.

Rivers do not struggle to flow, and you will never struggle to excel in life, because you deserve the best. Hold on to your dream and it shall be well with you... Amen. The eyes beholding this message shall not behold evil, the hand that will send this message to others shall not labour in vain, the mouth saying Amen to this prayer shall laugh forever, remain in God's love.. Your dream will not die, your plans will not fail, your destiny will not be aborted, and the desire of your heart will be granted. Say a big Amen. Money will know your name and address before the end of this month. No one goes to the river early in the morning and brings dirty water. may your life be clean, calm and clear like the early morning water. May the grace of the Almighty support, sustain and supply all your needs according to his riches in glory. Amen. The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you. This is not a joke; you are going to receive a divine visitation that will move your life forward mightily by the working of God's unstoppable Power. Do not break this prayer; send to others because we all need prayers. Remember life is short, don't break the rules; forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that makes you smile. Let me know what happens to you today after you open this. This is an unusual one. It actually gives you the time tomorrow. Lets see if it works. Guardian angel? Forward the message the same day that you receive it. It might sound ridiculous but it is right on time. We believe that something is going to happen. Angels exist, just sometimes they don't have wings and we call them friends. You are one of them. Something wonderful is going to happen to you and your friends tomorrow at 11:09 am. Somebody will address you and tell you something you have been waiting to hear. Please don't break this. Send this to at least 7 of your friends.... Life is hard make a decision today. God or Satan . If God fwd to 10. If satan close this text. If you love God & glad He woke you up today send this to 10 people (EVEN ME)

All about marriage

"MARRIAGE is like a shoe. When you wear oversize be ready to drag it along through out life, and when you wear under-size be ready to feel the pains through out life." One thing about marriage is that you don't drop your shoe or remove it at any point, no matter how painful or how stressful it is. That is why I thought it necessary to write you this letter. Dear Singles, When you are ready to buy your own shoe please take note of these three things: Physical appearance: Do not look for the beautiful once, the nice once or the cheap once. Look for the one that is your size. Not every handsome, wealthy or intelligent guy is for you, not every beautiful woman is for you. Look for the one that is meant for you, the one that aligns with your values and belief, the one who you meet at your life's journey. It is important to know where you're going in life before you think of getting a wife. Position: All sizes of shoes are not placed in the same place. There is a place for court shoes, laced up shoes, sport footwear, snickers etc. We have Children sizes, young people's sizes and the adult sizes. Know where to get your own shoe. Your size cannot be everywhere my brother, your type cannot be everywhere my sister. You cannot be a Christian, and be looking for a wife material at a club. Your wife or husband can't just be everywhere. Stick to your values and therein you shall find someone like you, but when your values are not defined anyone can just match you. Discover yourself and define your values Perception: In this kind of shoe purchasing enterprise, you are not permitted to try the shoe before you buy. This is why it is important to seek guidance and counseling, from people who have bought shoes before or are into the business of directing people to the right shoes (Pastors and Relationship coaches). And most importantly to avoid much time wasting time, simply consult the shoe manufacturer to tell you your size (God Almighty). "You do not prepare for wedding, you prepare for marriage." Ladies these days get so motivated when they attend wedding and they will quickly want to say yes to that guy. Wait!!! It is not just the wedding oh. The wedding is just one day. After the wedding WHAT NEXT? Finally, it is not something you rush to the market and just pick a shoe because you like or can purchase it. Ask questions -Where is this shoe made from? (Background) -What's the size (Values) -How much (His/Her interest) -How long will it last (His/Her Character) -Who made it? (Is she/He of the same faith This is compatibility) -Will it match me? (This is whether he/she love you and will accept you the way you are) Dear one, remember many are dragging their foot and they would hardly reach their destinies, many are feeling endless pains and wish they could pull off the shoes but no way!!! I have seen people with beautiful shoes and when they show you their foot, you will see scars. Beloved, it is not about the physical, it is the size, you can't know the size from afar so come close, build a relationship first but remember 'you are not permitted to try it before you buy it'. And for those who have purchased the wrong shoes, you can still make it your size again if you'd consult the manufacturer and let Him have His way in your marriage. God bless us all. Have a great day.

Former president Dr Jonathan speaks out.

JONATHAN SPEAKS OUT... I Didn't Hand Over A Collapsed Nation To Buhari - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan- . Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has replied his critics who accused him of handing over a nation at the verge of collapse to his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari. . Jonathan recounted the achievements of his government to include, handing over a country that produced the richest man in Africa. . Jonathan said, “I took over a Nigeria that was the second largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $270.5 billion in 2009, I handed over a Nigeria that had grown to become the largest economy in Africa and the 24th largest economy in the World with a GDP of $574 billion. . “I inherited a Nigeria in which the trains were not working, and handed over a Nigeria in which citizens can safely travel by trains again. . I inherited a Nigeria that was a net importer of cement, and handed over a Nigeria that is a net exporter of cement. . In 2009 the richest Nigerian was the 5th richest man in Africa, but I handed over a Nigeria that produced the richest man in Africa. . ”The former President stated that democracy will continue to grow in the African continent if leaders value the process of elections more than the product of the process. . He said, “Even in the 2015 general elections in my country, Nigeria, there was potential for major crisis if I was not a President duly elected by the will of the people. . “The campaigns leading to the elections almost polarized the country into Christian vs Muslims and North vs South divide. . Most World leaders were worried that our elections will result into major crisis. Some pundits even from here in the United States said that those elections would spell the end of Nigeria and that we would cease to exist as a nation because of the polls. . That is where the leadership question comes into play. . As a leader that was duly elected by the people, I considered the people’s interest first. . How do I manage my people to avoid killings and destruction of properties? . With the interest of the people propelling all the decisions I took, we were able to sail through. . Indeed, we sail through because I refused to interfere with the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having appointed a man I had never met in my life to run it. . My philosophy was simple. For elections to be credible, I as a leader, must value the process more than the product of the process. And the citizens must have confidence in the electoral body. . Pls circulate it for them to know. The deceit is getting to much

Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store. She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries.   She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food.   John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at once.   Visualizing the family needs, she said: 'Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can.'   John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store. Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, 'Do you have a grocery list?'   Louise replied, 'Yes sir.' 'O.K' he said, 'put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries.'   Louise hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed.   The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down..   The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, 'I can't believe it.'   The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more.   The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement.   It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said:   'Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands.'   The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence.   Louise thanked him and left the store. The other customer handed a hundred-dollar bill to the grocer and said; 'It was worth every penny of it. Only God Knows how much a prayer weighs.'   THE POWER: When you receive this, say a prayer. That's all you have to do.   Just stop right now, and say a prayer of thanks for your own good fortune...   I believe if you will send this testimony out with prayer in faith, you will receive what you need God to do in your and your families' life..   So dear heart, trust God to heal the sick, provide food for the hungry, clothes and shelter for those that don't have as we do. Amen & Amen   Don't break this, please! Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.   There is no cost but a lot of rewards. May you always walk with Angels God Bless!   I AM CLAIMING THIS FOR YOU   Three things will happen to you this coming week:   (1) You will find favour with someone you don't expect;   (2) You will be too relevant to be ignored;   (3) You will encounter God and you will never remain the same, Amen.   My prayer for you today:   The eyes beholding this message shall not behold evil, the hands that will send this message to others shall not labor in vain, the mouth saying Amen to this prayer shall laugh forever. Remain in God's love as you send this prayer.Have a lovely journey of life! Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will never fail you because He is Awesome!

Just trust on God, he will answer you at the appointed time.

When God says YES, nobody can say no. It does not take God 24hrs to change a man's story. Mordecai was a gate man to king Ahaseurus, when his book of remembrance was opened, his story changed from gate to palace. Joseph was a prisoner in Egypt, but a day came when God made him to become a Prime Minister in the same Egypt. This same God can still do it for you, When God opens your book of remembrance, all your sorrows will turn into laughter, all your days of mourning will turn into dancing, those who mock you, will come & celebrate with you, those who look down on you, will look up to you, those who say who are you? Will come & say how are you to you? I pray that may the Lord do for you, what will shock your enemies, may God promote you above your contemporaries. May God fight your hidden battles and grant you victory in every areas of your life. May God's eyes of mercy shine upon you. May God send you help from the four corners of the World. May God deliver you from every evil. Happy Sunday to you.

Is agriculture the magic solution in Nigeria? read and state your own opinion.

Michael George Agriculture is NOT the magic solution by Simon Kolawole Anytime I hear Nigerian presidents, ministers, governors, economists, analysts and commentators declare that agriculture is the alternative to oil, and that the solution to Nigeria’s economic woes is to return to the farm, I am tempted to jump up and ask at full volume: “Who agriculture alone don epp?” Some states have hilariously declared work-free days for civil servants to go to the farm. It would be nice to see those farms and how well the emergency farmers are doing. We’ve been told again and again that agriculture, as Nigeria’s biggest employer of labour, is the magic solution to unemployment, that we will export agricultural produce and earn plenty forex. Well done. I’ve been hearing this fairy-tale all my life. When I was a primary school kid, Lt. Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo, then head of state, asked Nigerians to tighten their belts because the oil boom would not last forever. He added drama by tightening his military belt on TV. He launched Operation Feed the Nation. My grandfather responded by setting up a garden in our backyard. President Shehu Shagari did Green Revolution. The structural adjustment programme (SAP) of Gen. Ibrahim Babangida was basically about diversifying into agriculture. In different shapes, forms, sizes and packaging, we have been talking about agriculture, agriculture and agriculture forever. Since we love glamorising our exploits in the export of cocoa, coffee, palm oil and groundnuts before the oil boom doom, I will pick on just cocoa to dispel this ill-conceived notion and never-ending campaign that agriculture is the magic wand. We used to be the biggest producers of cocoa in the world. Chief Obafemi Awolowo utilised cocoa revenue to develop the south-west when he was premier of the region in the 1950s. But we dropped the ball along the line and Cote d’Ivoire overtook us. And now we are lamenting that we are nowhere to be found. The solution, therefore, is for the south-west to revive the cocoa farms. Oh, the good old days! Okay, let us talk about Cote d’Ivoire’s fabled cocoa wealth. Cote d’Ivoire produces 33% of world cocoa and exports to manufacturers such as Hershey’s, Mars Inc. (both in the US) and Nestlé (Switzerland). You know what Cote d’Ivoire earns yearly from exporting raw cocoa? A whopping $2.5bn. I repeat: a whopping $2.5bn! So Mars buys Ivorien cocoa and makes several products from it: Bounty, M&M, Mars and Milky Way, to name a few. You know Mars’ net income from chocolate products alone in 2015? According to the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO), Mars made a pathetic $18bn, compared to Cote d’Ivoire’s whopping $2.5bn. Agriculture, indeed. If you are wondering how just one company, which manufactures chocolate, can earn seven times more than a whole country, which farms and exports the cocoa input, then you are asking the same question with me: Who agriculture alone don epp? On ICCO’s list of the world’s top 10 companies in net revenue from chocolate, you have three from America, two from Japan, two from Switzerland, and one each from Luxemburg/Italy, Argentina and Turkey. None from Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Indonesia — the world’s three biggest producers of raw cocoa. There must be something that Hershey’s, Mars and Nestlé know that we don’t know as we keep planting cocoa. To be fair, Cote d’Ivoire is waking up. In 2015, French chocolatier Cémoi opened a plant in Abidjan, the economic capital, to produce chocolate. President Alassane Ouattara, on touring the plant, said: “We want to be able to make chocolate for Ivoriens, for Africans and especially West Africans.” Ouattara (pronounced Wa-ta-ra) understands what we still don’t understand here: that agriculture without industry is dead, being alone. How could I buy cocoa worth $1m from you and make chocolate worth $10 million from it — and you think you are smart? If you are smart, you will start making the chocolate yourself and stop romanticising about the “good old days”. There was a video that went viral sometime ago. CNN’s Richard Quest visited a cocoa farm in Cote d’Ivoire. Come and see poverty written all over the faces of the farmers, who have been told for decades that agriculture is the magic solution to their problems. Quest gave the farmers bars of chocolate. They were eating the sweet stuff for the first time in their lives! Compare their lives to those of the executives of Mars Inc., who buy the cocoa beans from Cote d’Ivoire. They are flying private jets and holidaying in the moon, while the Ivorien farmers are fighting off flies and bees in the bushes of Koffikro. For your information, Mars Inc. has no cocoa farms! Don’t get me wrong please. If I have created the impression that agriculture is useless, I do apologise. That is not my intention. After all, agriculture is our culture. Millions of Nigerians are farming rice, beans, cassava and corn. That is huge employment. Also, we certainly can produce many food items that we are importing and burning precious forex on. But is that why governors are declaring work-free days for civil servants to go and plant melon and maize to solve Nigeria’s economic problem and stop the dependency on oil? If only these governors knew that Switzerland does not grow one tree of cocoa, yet makes the world’s most elegant chocolates! Let us break this whole agric logic into pieces. If we really want to diversify from oil and create proper value, agriculture must give birth to industry. If agriculture currently employs, say, 5 million Nigerians, agro-allied industry can employ 15 million in the value chain. So why do we spend so much time discussing farming and not industry? For example, how many graduates can a tomato farm employ compared to a factory making tomato purée? The factory will employ or engage the services of engineers, technicians, chemists, marketers, accountants, communicators, lawyers, administrators, drivers, and so on. It may even have a sick bay and employ doctors and nurses. I’m not done. A basket of tomatoes sells for N800 in Kaduna. A 400g tin of purée sells for N300. Look at how many bottles of purée you can get from a basket, and how much value you will be getting. Who, then, is making the real money? The factory will pay company tax, its employees will pay PAYE and the consumers will pay VAT. That is how government will boost its revenue. The purée bottle makers offer a different business altogether that employs workers and pays all kinds of taxes too. And if we are good enough, we can begin to export purée to other countries, and earn forex. This is just purée. Think of a thousand agro-allied factories. Think of our huge population. Sure, agriculture is very important in a primitive economy like ours. But we always miss the bigger picture. One, we need full optimisation of the sector to enhance productivity. A country like the US knows this much better: the percentage of the population engaged in farming is insignificant, but it is so optimised that the output is out of this world. For instance, the US produces enough rice for local consumption, for export, for aid and to dump in the sea to “stabilise” market prices. Two, processing is where you find the massive job opportunities. The agro-industry will yield far more output, more jobs and more economic value than Benue Friday Farming. These things look so simple and doable, but commonsense is not common. Our agricultural output can be far better in quantity and quality than currently obtains. We can do with better technology, storage, conditioning, packaging and transportation. Most importantly, our brains should focus on how industry can bring out the real value of agriculture and spark off a chain of economic activities that will create millions of good jobs and generate billions of dollars in revenue to investors, employees and government. But we seem excited only about preaching and promoting the export of raw produce, and we feel so smart we think this is the way out of our oil dependency! But how can we add value when, despite the billions of dollars we have made from oil since 1999, we don’t have the basic infrastructure to inspire an agro-based industrial explosion? Where are the roads? Where are the rails? Where is the electricity? Where is the security? Where is the finance? Yet I can point to uncountable private jets, mansions and customised cars that politicians and their friends have acquired since 1999 with proceeds from the oil boom — while they keep preaching stone-age agriculture to Nigerians. So if your governor joins this craze of declaring work-free days for primitive farming, just ask him politely: Your Excellency, who agriculture alone don epp?

letter to Nigerian parents.

Forwarded as received... LETTER TO NIGERIAN PARENTS Dear All, Let's be real. I wish to start by adding the benefit of my time as a student and then resident in the UK. Living in Abuja now. The first thing that I discovered about UK-born, white, English undergraduates was that all of them did holiday or weekend job to support themselves – including the children of millionaires amongst them. It is the norm over there – regardless of how wealthy their parents are. And I soon discovered that virtually all other foreign students did the same, except status–conscious Nigerians. I also watched Richard Branson (owner of Virgin Airline) speaking on the Biography Channel. To my amazement, he said that his young children travel in the economy class – even when the parents (he and his wife) are in upper class. Richard Branson is a billionaire in Pound sterling. A quick survey would show you that only children from Nigeria fly business or upper class to commence their studies in the UK. No other foreign students do this. There is no aircraft attached to the office of the Prime Minister in the UK. He travels on BA. And the same goes for the Royals. The Queen does not have an aircraft for her exclusive use. These practices simply become the culture which the next generation carries forward. Have you seen the car that Kate Middleton (the wife of Prince William) drives? VW Golf or something close to it. But there’s one core difference between them and us (generally speaking), they (even the billionaires among them) work for their money, most of us steal ours If we want our children to bring about the desired change we have been praying for on behalf of our dear country, then please, please let’s begin now and teach them to work hard so they can stand alone and most importantly be content and not having to “steal” which seems to be the norm these days. Thanks giving offerings are received by pretense of ignorance in Churches. We have Nigerian children who have never worked for 5 minutes in their lives insisting on flying “only” first or business class and using the latest cars fully paid for by their “loving “ parents who counts such empowerment as Blessings from God! I often get calls from anxious parents ”my son graduated 2 years ago and is still looking for a job, can you please assist!” “Oh really! So where exactly is “THIS CHILD?” is my usual question. “Why are you the one making this call dad/mum? I am yet to get a satisfactory answer, but between you and me, chances are that the big boy is cruising around Abuja with a babe dressed to the nines, in his dad’s spanking new SUV with enough “pocket money” to put your salary to shame. It is not at all strange to hear about a 28-year old who has NEVER worked for a day in his or her life in Nigeria but “earns” a six figure “salary” from parents, for doing absolutely nothing! I see them in my office once in a while, 26 years old with absolutely no skill to sell, apart from a shiny CV, written by his dad’s secretary in the office. Of course, he has a driver at his beck and call and he is driven to the job interview. We have a fairly decent conversation and we get to the inevitable question - so, what salary are you looking to earn? Answer comes straight out – N250,000.00. I ask if that is per month or per annum. “Of course, it is per month” “Oh, why do you think you should be earning that much on your first job?” “Well, because my current pocket money is N200,000.00 and I feel any employer should be able to pay me more than my parents.” No wonder corruption continues to thrive. We have a society of young people who have been brought up to expect something for nothing, as if it were a birthright. Even though the examples I have given above are from parents of considerable affluence, similar patterns can be observed from Abeokuta to Adamawa. Wake up mum! Wake up dad! This syndrome – “my children will not suffer what I suffered", is destroying your tomorrow. You are practically loving your child to death! Henry Ford said “hard work does not kill.” We are getting everything wrong in Nigeria now, including family setting. It is time to prepare your children for tomorrow, the way the world is going, only those that are rugged, hard working and smart working that will survive. How will your ward fare? Please forward to as many Nigerian parents as u can.

Laugh hard to easy stress.

Oya laugh small jare. I was driving down a street along Alausa, having just finished answering a call, when a policeman, suddenly, opened the passenger door, entered and jam-locked it. (The door lock is faulty) As usual, he wanted 'something' from me for calling while driving... Suddenly, he saw the big Rothweiller dog, Jackie, at the back seat of the car, with tongue stuck out, spittle dripping and fangs barring, staring fiercely at him. Policeman: (Shaking) Ah! You carry dog? Me: (I bone face) Yes, I carry dog. Dat one na offense? Policeman: (Feeling uncomfortable) Na where una dey come from? Me: From hospital. Policeman: Ehen! you sick? (The dog was now getting impatient and gave a small growl, its tongue almost touching the policeman's left ear). Policeman: (Now sliding forward)Oga, I take God beg you, open the door for me make I comot. I no go collect anythin from you. Me: How much you go pay me? Policeman: Ah! The oda N1,000 na my wife own, but I go give you join. (Now, close to tears as the dog was becoming really impatient) Oga, I be......g, Oga, sorry. Take the N2,000 make you open the door plssssssse! Me: Oya, bring am. (I collected the N2,000 & allowed him out of the car) Policeman: God punish you. Idiot, e no go ever better for you and your yeye dog. Wicked man!!! 😃😀😀😀. Pass it ahead, don't laugh alone.

Nigerians take note

CBN monetary policy alone (without Diversifications and Import Substitutions) is insufficient to bring about the desired level of economic output growth needed to take Nigeria out of recession and poverty. Very interesting message

Several years ago, a preacher from a distant town accepted a call from a church in Leeds. Some weeks after his arrival, he had an appointment that made him to board a bus to another part of the town. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had mistakenly given him his balance in excess of 50 pence. As he considered what to do, he thought within him, 'You'd better give this money back. It would be wrong to keep it'. Then another thought came, "Oh, forget it, it's only 50p; who would worry about this little amount, afterall the bus company makes so much money on fares; they will never miss it. Accept it as 'a gift from God' and keep quiet. "When he was getting down from the bus, he paused momentarily at the door, and then handed the 50p to the driver and said, 'Take; the balance you gave me was in excess'. The driver, with a smile, replied,'Aren't you the new preacher in town?' 'Yes I am' he replied.'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about where to go to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I give you balance in excess. I'll worship with you at the church this Sunday. When the preacher stepped off the bus, he grabbed a nearby electric pole, looked up and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for 50 pence. Our lifestyles are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is just a subtle example of how much people watch us as Christians, and will put us to test! Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your forehead and shoulders once you call yourself a Christian. 'Watch your thoughts;they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character.Watch your character; it becomes your destiny'. I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder and I chose to forward it to you. If you don't pass this on to anybody, nothing bad will happen to u; but, if you do, you would have ministered to someone today and God will bless you. If u must miss any place, dn't miss HEAVEN. If u must miss any appointment, plz dn't miss THE RAPTURE. If u must miss any meal, plz dn't miss THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB. The end is no more NEAR, It's HERE.
