Family feud. Jennifer Connell didn't leave a Connecticut bash with a goodie bag four years ago. Instead, she left with a broken wrist. The Manhattan resident is suing her nephew Sean Tarala for injuring her at his 8th birthday party, the Daily Mail reports.

The human resources manager, 54, is reportedly asking for $127,000 because of the incident, which occurred back in March 2011. She claims that her nephew, now 12, hurt her when he jumped into her arms when she arrived for the festivities.
"All of a sudden he was there in the air, I had to catch him and we tumbled on to the ground," Connell recalled in court on Friday, Oct. 9. "I remember him shouting, 'Auntie Jen I love you,' and there he was flying at me."

Connell said that she didn't want to bring up the injury at the time because it would overshadow Sean's party. She alleges, however, that the pain continued once she returned home to NYC.
"I live in Manhattan in a third-floor walk-up so it has been very difficult," she said. "And we all know how crowded it is in Manhattan. I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate."

According to the Daily Mail, Sean — who Connell described as "very loving" and "sensitive" in court — attended the hearing on Friday with his father, Michael Tarala. Sean's mother, Lisa, died last year. It is not clear whether she was Connell's sister or sister-in-law.
