A political scientist and peace resolution expert, Ambassador Brownhill Okwandu has described the last administration in Abia State, led by former governor Theodore Orji, as ‘a total failure’.
In a signed release, Okwandu described Orji’s administration as an ill-wind which blew no one any good, adding that “its actions made nonsense of good administration.
“Which can one talk about and leave the other, is it in the area of deplorable road network or the dirty state of Abia then? That administration left mountainous heap of problems, which has remained a cog in the wheel of progress of the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu administration.”
Okwandu also decried the level of impunity as exemplified by Orji’s administration, adding that people were “cowed, cajoled and threatened for saying the truth.” He, however, praised Ikpeazu for his strides since he took over the reins of the state five months ago.
